Vintage Wash Chambray Indian Cotton

A classic cornflower blue chambray with an off white selvedge.

This is a soft, mid-weight cotton which would make a beautiful shirt. If you were making a dress you'd want to pick a pattern with some fullness, or you could line it. Also perfect for tops, pyjamas, and lightweight breezy curtains.

• 90cm wide.
• 5.5oz, 188gsm.
• 100% cotton.
• This fabric is hand dyed. For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees C with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.
• As these Indian cloths are handmade, they are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave like banding, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
