Class Cancellation Policy
Our teachers rely on your class funds for their income. Filling class spots requires weeks of preparation.

We require at least two weeks' notice prior to the class start date to offer a full refund.

Class cancellations made within two weeks of the class start date cannot be refunded. We will issue a class credit for a later class with this same instructor, but require at least 48 hour notice prior to the start of class to receive this credit.

Class cancellations within 48 hours of the class start date cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.
For the following multi-week school classes - Sewing School, Quilt School, Crochet School, Sweater School, Garment School:

Class cancellations made within four weeks of the class start date cannot be refunded. We will issue a class credit for a later class with this same instructor.

Class cancellations within 48 hours of the class start date cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.
To cancel a class, please call (614) 549-4428, email info@sewtospeakshoppe.com, or contact your instructor.
If you must miss a class in a series, please contact the instructor for make-up options. The instructor may need to charge you a Private Instruction fee for make-ups. Private Instruction fees are $35-$50.
Return/Credit/Refund Policy
At Sew to Speak, we work hard to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. If you believe there is an error in your order, received the wrong item, are missing an item, or received a damaged item, please let us know within a week of purchase.
All sales are final on any sewing machines, sergers, cut goods (items cut to your specification), books, and patterns.
In the rare instance that your Juki machine has a defect, we will do everything we can to make it right. We will need to evaluate the machine before any repairs, exchanges, or refunds are processed. Machines are warranted as follows: 5 years on all mechanical parts. 2 years on electrical. Once the machine goes home with you, it is not returnable.
Please note: Fabric is sold by the 1/4 yard. We cannot refund or replace errors in calculating yardage unless the error is ours.
Any yarn returns must be unwound and in original skein condition.
Any approved returns must be received in their original condition without the smell of smoke or chemicals.
We will credit your account once we receive the item back for the price of the goods. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your shipping costs or cover the cost of shipping a return to us.
We cannot accept returns on sale items. These are final sale and may not be returned.
