Symphony Shawl: Colorwork & Lace w/ Sarah

Grab a Sweet Georgia kit or pick out your own colorful mini skeins and join our instructor, Sarah, to knit this fun and colorful shawl!
Skills Learned:
Each section of the project uses fun new techniques including lace and mosaic colorwork. All sessions include guidance for transitioning between techniques and support for fixing the inevitable mistakes that come up as you progress through this rewarding project.
Please Note: This class is for intermediate level students who are comfortable with knit and purl stitches and have made a few projects already on their own. This is not a beginner class.
Ages 18+
Skill Level: Intermediate
Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken 2-3 Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and/or have made several projects on their own, and are feeling independent in their skills. Knitting students must be comfortable with basic stitches within their craft (knitting and purling), reading simple patterns, and troubleshooting simple mistakes.

Class prep:
- Before class students should buy the necessary supplies and wind their yarn into cakes.

Students should purchase and print the pattern or be comfortable with viewing it on an electronic device for the duration of the class.
Materials (not included, but all classroom materials purchased at Sew To Speak receive a 15% discount):
- Sweet Georgia Symphony Shawl Kit (these kits will be available for purchase at Sew To Speak) or 15 fingering weight mini skeins in different colors (a total of ~210g of yarn if you’d like to use fewer colors).
- US 6 / 4mm Circular Needles, 24-32” cable
