Description
Do you love whimsy in your household? Have you recently said to yourself, “this couch could really use a goose”? Then this is the class for you!
In this class we will make ourselves a Silly Goose from the pattern designer, Kristin Rauch of Woollypetals. Students have the option to make the 20 inch or 16 inch goose for this class, both will be taught simultaneously, and students should be able to leave the class with a finished goose.
In this class students will learn how to:
- apply fusible interfacing
- sew in curves
- hand-sew a ladder stitch
- sew a boxy corner
- and other tricks to making stuffed animals
Students must have a basic knowledge of their sewing machine, including threading your machine, winding and inserting a bobbin, and straight line sewing.
Ages 18+
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects.
