Description
Have you always wanted to try knitting socks? Here’s your chance to learn!
Our instructor, Sarah, will guide you through knitting your first pair of socks from casting-on using double pointed needles to grafting the toe closed. You’ll learn how to properly measure your feet and choose your size, how to turn a sock heel, and how to decrease for a perfectly shaped gusset.
Please note that this is not a beginner class.
Ages 18+
Skill Level: Intermediate
Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken 2-3 Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and/or have made several projects on their own, and are feeling independent in their skills. Knitting students must be comfortable with basic stitches within their craft (knitting and purling), reading simple patterns, and troubleshooting simple mistakes.
