Rue Quilt Coat, Part 1 w/ Isabel
Material:
Description
Inspired by cozy vintage housecoats, workwear, and a dash of mischief, this class guides you through every step of crafting a quilted coat for an adult or child! (But please note that this is an Adult Only class.)
In this two part class, Isabel will help you make the quilted Rue Quilt Coat of your dreams. The two class series is designed to be taken together or individually. In this first part we will learn how to prepare a whole cloth (no piecing) quilt and create your own bias tape. - This listing is for Part 1
Are you a garment sewist who can handle the Rue pattern on your own but don't know how to quilt? Then Part 1 is perfect for you!
Are you already a confident quilter or do you have an old quilt you'd like to make a jacket out of? Just sign up for part 2!
Want some support for the whole exciting process? Take both parts together!
Note: Depending on the quilting pattern selected and the yardage needed for the selected size, students might need to finish quilting at home.
Ages 18+
Class Level: Advanced Beginner
Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects.
