Inspired by cozy vintage housecoats, workwear, and a dash of mischief, this class guides you through every step of crafting a quilted coat for an adult or child! (But please note that this is an Adult Only class.)

In this two part class, Isabel will help you make the quilted Rue Quilt Coat of your dreams. The two class series is designed to be taken together or individually. In this first part we will learn how to prepare a whole cloth (no piecing) quilt and create your own bias tape. - This listing is for Part 1

Class Level: Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects.

Class Prep:

• Please have your fabric pressed prior to the first class.
• Pre-washing fabric prior to the first class is optional– unwashed quilting cotton will crinkle more than pre-washed fabric, adding dimension to your finished project.
