Softshell is a triple layered fabric which will keep you warm and dry. All the layers of the fabric have their own characteristics. The one on the inside is a fleece layer for warmth, the intermediate one is a breathable membrane which ventilates and keeps moisture out. The outside layer is water-repellent. With this combination softshell is the perfect fabric for outdoor wear This product holds the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. The Oeko-Tex® label guarantees that no harmful substances, such as chemicals, are present in the fabric. Standard 100 includes four levels of certification, with criteria for baby clothing. Meaning dyes won't be absorbed through the skin, and infants and young children should be able to safely chew on fabrics.
