No Sew Quilted Star Ornament w/ Jamie

Get your glue guns ready for this no sew “Quilted” Star Ornament class. In 4 hours you’ll walk away with a finished project or the ability to take it home and finish it (and make more!).

In this class, students will be guided through making folded fabric ornaments with embellishments such as ribbons, small greenery, buttons, or even smaller ornaments on top.

Supplies (not included in the cost of this class): Please note that all materials purchased for this lesson at Sew To Speak receive a 15% discount.

• 3 fat quarters of coordinating fabric, or three ¼ yards of coordinating fabrics. We recommend small prints, solids, or blender fabrics. 2.5 inch charm packs of fabric can work too if you want a variety of fabrics in the ornament, but you will need a 2 x 12 strip of coordinating fabric as well.
• Ribbon for the hanger
• Optional: additional ribbons, buttons, small greenery pieces, beads, bells, etc. for decoration
• Scissors
• Hot Glue Gun (There will have a few store glue guns available to use, but please bring your own if able.)
• Small ruler or measuring gauge
• Thimble

• One 3 inch styrofoam ball
• 1 strip of batting measuring 1x12"
• 215 straight tailor pins
