Join us as we make a Mini Dopp Kit from @andrea1creates - perfect for stashing little goodies, makeup, knitting notions and more!

This bag is cleverly constructed with no visible raw edges, and can be further personalized with the addition of zipper pulls and buttons if desired.

Finished dimensions: Approximately 3” H x 4” W and 6.5” long

Class Level: Intermediate

Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken 2-3 Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and/or have made several projects on their own, and are feeling independent in their skills. Some classes may include pre-class prep to be completed on your own. Sewing students must be comfortable threading their machines, following a seam allowance, changing presser feet, and troubleshooting minor machine issues.

Supplies (Included in the cost of this class):

• Pouch pattern, so that you can make more on your own! 

Supplies (Not included in the cost of this class, but all materials purchased at Sew To Speak will receive a 15% discount): 

• Fabric:
  - 3 coordinating prints ¼ yard each or 3 fat quarters of quilting weight cotton. (2 for exterior and 1 for lining). Smaller scale, non directional prints work best.
  - ¼ yard cotton batting such as Pellon Natural 100% cotton batting
• Other Supplies:
  - 1 spool coordinating thread
  - 1 nylon zipper 12” long-may be longer but will be cut down
  - ¼ yard length of 1-1.25 inch wide woven cotton webbing for strap
  - Sewing machine with zipper foot attachment (Sew to Speak can provide a machine if needed)- make sure you have your cord, pedal, bobbin and needle to be able to use during class
  - Water soluble marker
• Optional Supplies:
  - Narrow ribbon (narrow enough to fit through zipper pull)
  - Buttons for embellishment
  - Hand sewing needle for stitching on buttons
