Learn to Sew with Knits: Make a T-shirt You Love w/ Nat
Material:
Description
Learn how to sew a t-shirt, and learn tips for sewing with knit fabrics! This is a great first garment class with knit fabrics, as students will review serger basics, and how to professionally finish hems with a 2-needle topstitch.
** Please note that you do not need a serger for this class. Students may choose to sew the t-shirt entirely on the sewing machine, or borrow a serger during class. The instructor will go over both options!
Ages 18+
Skill Level: Intermediate
Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken 2-3 Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and/or have made several projects on their own, and are feeling independent in their skills. Some classes may include pre-class prep to be completed on your own. Sewing students must be comfortable threading their machines, following a seam allowance, changing presser feet, and troubleshooting minor machine issues.
If you need a refresher on how to use your machine - Nat is available before the first class for a 30 min private lesson ($20/person).
