Kids Sewing w/Kathy: Pouf Floor Cushion

Cozy into a cool gumdrop pouf you make yourself! Finished size is18" wide and 9" high.

Ages: 8-17

Skill Level: Kids Intermediate

Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and are feeling independent in their skills. Must have taken Kids Sewing 101 and Kids PJ Pants.

Class prep:
Please come in to Sew to Speak and choose fabric by the Thursday prior to the class start date so that fabric can be cut and ready to use at the start of class.

• For September 14th class - please choose fabrics by September 11 by 4pm
• For November 2nd class - please choose fabrics by October 30 by 4pm
• For January 18th class - please choose fabrics by January 15 by 4pm

If this is inconvenient you can shop Sew To Speak on line, call the store and let them know you are taking the Pouf class and your fabric choice. You do not need to pre-wash the fabric, you will leave it at the shop and the instructor will cut the pieces out for you ahead of time

Supplies (not included, but students will receive a 15% discount when purchased at Sew To Speak):

• 2 yards 44” wide quilting fabric for the Main and Top Panels- must purchase ahead of time and leave at the shop for instructor to cut

Supplies (Included in class fee):

• Polyester stuffing (equal to 5.25 lbs)- included in class, no need to purchase ahead of time
• 8” x 8” piece of lightweight sew-in interfacing (I use Pellon® 30)-- included in class, no need to purchase ahead of time
• 1 spool of coordinating all-purpose thread (I use Coats Dual Duty XP®)-- included in class, no need to purchase ahead of time
• 1 9” coordinating invisible zipper- included in class, no need to purchase ahead of time
