Learn to sew your first garment - a classic pair of PJ pants!
In this follow up class to Kids Sewing 101, Instructor Merrilee Boniface shows your kid how to create a pair of PJ pants they can wear home that day. Students will learn how to assemble the pants including creating an elastic waist band and hemming. Pants can be sized up to kids 14 and adapted to a variety of body types. The instructor will assist each participant with sizing.
Ages 8-17
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects.

Supplies are included in the cost of this class. Students will pick out their fabric, elastic and thread choices at the beginning of class. This will include:
- 2 1/4 yards quilting cotton
- 3/4 - 1 yard 1” non roll elastic
- Thread
Kids are welcome to bring their own sewing machine, if they have one, or plan to use one of our shop machines.
