Description
Your kid can learn to make a pillowcase in this class taught by Kathy Copeland. This class is for a true beginner who wants to learn the basic operation of their machine. We will review some basic sewing terminology, wind a bobbin, thread the machine and construct an easy to make pillow case. You will come away with an understanding of your machine operation, how to use seam allowance guides, and various other tips so you can feel confident to try projects on your own.
Ages 8-17
Skill Level: True Beginner
No skills needed! True Beginner classes are great for beginners with no previous experience or for those who’d like to refresh their skills.
Supplies are included in this class.
Optional Notions: (These tools are great if you have them. The shoppe will have these available for your use during class)
- Measuring tape
- Pins
- Scissors or rotary cutter
- A fabric marker/chalk
- Seam gauge
- Seam ripper
