Easy Patchwork Sweatshirt with Mallory

Create a one-of-a-kind addition to your wardrobe! Join us as we use raw edge applique to adhere a patchwork design on a sweatshirt of your choosing. You can create a design that matches the class sample or create something completely unique to you! * Please note you are not sewing the sweatshirt in this class. You will learn to create the applique embellishments on an existing garment.

Ages 18+

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects.

• Collection of coordinating scraps, fat quarters, charm squares, etc
• 1 yard Pellon Wonder Under
• 1 Spool Coordinating Thread
• 1 pre-washed sweatshirt - hoodie or crew neck sweatshirt - no t-shirts or lightweight athletic wear

Other tools and supplies:

• Sewing machine with zigzag stitch. If you cannot bring your own machine, Sew to Speak has classroom machines available on request. Please contact us in advance of your class to notify the staff and instructor if you will need to borrow a classroom machine.
