Darning 101 w/ Nat

Learn to darn your beloved knits! In this class, we will go over the basics of darning: What it is, and how it’s done. Darning can be done on socks, sweaters, or even on woven fabrics like jeans! Whether you choose to use your darning skills to mend holes in knitted garments, or as a decorative element on your favorite jeans, you will walk away with everything you need to darn your garments going forward.

You can choose to bring an item that needs darned, or do a practice sample. 

Ages 18+

Class Level: True Beginner

No skills needed! True Beginner classes are great for beginners with no previous experience or for those who’d like to refresh their skills.

Supplies (not included, but supplies purchased at Sew To Speak will receive a 15% discount):

• An item to darn, or scrap of fabric for practice project. 
• Matching yarn for your material. Tapestry yarn is recommended. 
• Tapestry needle.
