Classic T-Shirt w/ Beth

Join Beth in crafting a stretch knit tee that is semi-fitted with a hemline that sits at the hip. The Rio has contrasting ribbing around the crew neckline and short sleeves for a trendy vintage look. Participants will learn to sew with a stretch stitch and a twin needle

Ages 18+

Class Level: Intermediate

Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken 2-3 Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and/or have made several projects on their own, and are feeling independent in their skills. Some classes may include pre-class prep to be completed on your own.

Class Prep:

• Purchase pattern: Rio Ringer Top and Dress by True Bias
• Trace your size (if you want to preserve the other sizes for later use) or cut out your size if you are feeling bold!
• Wash and iron fabric
  

Supplies (not included, but all materials purchased at Sew To Speak will receive a 15% discount): 

• Fabric for your size based on pattern requirements
• Matching thread and pre-wound bobbin
• Ribbed binding (sometimes called “rib knit”) - ¼ yard yards
• Pattern, available here. 
• Stretch needles
• Twin needle in stretch
• Any pins/clips/scissors/rotary or other notions you like to use, alternatively you may use the classroom supplies.
• Sewing machine that you know how to use or call the shop if you need to use one of the classroom machines.
