A dedication that is sustained by rancher Maria Pia Sanchez as she carries her family’s legacy into the future. Maria Pia’s primary focus is to observe and maintain the health of the land through reforestation, organic farming, and compassionate ranching. The sheep of Dehesa de la Rinconada graze freely, surrounded by plants providing everything they may need from nourishment to medicine.
Maria Pia’s flock is comprised of both black and white merino sheep who’s wool when blended, provides a unique variety of tones. This combination of light and dark creates a natural gradient presented across five tones delivering a palette of twenty-one colors dyed with organic pigments.
