A simple one size just-about-zero-waste shirt with a square neckline and side splits. Part machine and part hand-stitched. And as a bonus it is almost zero waste! What little is left can easily be used as a pocket, or saved for mending your favorite garment.
This pattern is ONE SIZE, the body width is determined by the width of your fabric. There are no pattern pieces. The length can be modified to your liking.
Skill Level: Advanced beginner. Basic machine and hand stitching skills needed.

Based on fabric that is 56“ - 61” [142cm - 155cm] wide:
Body Circumference: 52”-59” [132cm-150cm]
Body Length: 19”-29” [48cm-73cm]
Armhole Depth: 9” [23cm]
Fabric Requirements
• 1yd [1m] of 56“ - 61” [142cm - 155cm] wide fabric. Linen, linen blends, cotton or linen double gauze. Ideally you want a woven fabric with a bit a drape, especially as the shoulders drop down to form the sleeve caps.
Additional Supplies
Cutting mat, acrylic ruler, rotary cutter or fabric scissors, pins, sewing thread, hand sewing needle, 1-2 skeins of 6-strand embroidery floss, embroidery needle, seam gauge
