One Of A Kind Dress or Top Workshop
Are you ready to make a showstopper dress or top with fabric that you've painted yourself? Anita Gastaldo and Linda Leviton have designed a special workshop for you. Together we'll cut out our fabric, add a design with specialty paint, and sew up the gorgeous Sauvie pattern by Sew House Seven. No prior fabric painting experience is needed, we'll get you through that part, but we do need you to be able to use your sewing machine independently and have experience in sewing at least one basic garment (serger use is optional). In this one day workshop you will come away with a stunning one of a kind sundress or top.

Class prep: Fabric must be washed, dried, and ironed before class. Please see laundry instructions on fabric bolt or search fabric type to find washing instructions.
Materials needed (Materials are not included in the class cost, but students will receive a 15% discount on class supplies purchased at Sew to Speak)
- Sauvie Sundress Dress Pattern in your size available at Sew to Speak
- Solid color fabric in linen, linen blend or cotton. No printed design or texture- as you'll be adding your own unique design!
- Enough fabric to make your garment in your size and an extra 1/2-1 yard to practice painting
- Thread to match
- Basic sewing supplies; sewing machine, serger (if you plan to use one), scissors, pins, tape measure, seam ripper. We will have supplies to share, but it's helpful to have your own tools that you are comfortable with. If you need to use a shop machine for class please call the shop ahead of time to confirm availability
- Painting supplies are provided and are included in the cost of class
