Description
Want to get started with quilting but not sure where to start? Learn two classic quilt blocks and the fundamentals of quilt piecing in this 2.5 hour class. We will cover measuring and cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler, seam allowances for quilting, pressing best practices, and half square triangle tips and tricks, while making a flying geese block and a saw tooth star block. This class focuses on piecing the front of your quilt. Other classes in this series will help you learn to quilt your "quilt sandwich" (stitching the batting, backing, and top together) as well as binding and stitching.
