Description
If you've been in Knitting 101 or Crochet 101 and thought to yourself "I also want to learn how to sew!" or you want to learn how to sew with a make and take project, this class is for you! In this class we will create the Jenny Project Bag by Bethany Lynne Makes. The bag is customizable and comes in two sizes. You can pick what size you want to make! It is lined and has a boxy base to help hold your yarn, current knitting/crochet projects, or anything else your heart desires. Students can purchase all supplies at Sew to Speak and will receive 15% off of class supplies. We have 3 classroom machines to use if you do not own your own, please email the shop at info@sewtospeakshoppe.com to reserve a machine.

Supplies (not included*)
Fabric: woven, mid-weight fabric such as quilting cotton, linen, or cotton canvas. Quantity depends on what size of bag you want to make, see the pattern for fabric requirements. If you would like a structured bag and are using quilting cotton, purchase SF101 to interface the lining.

Coordinating thread
5mm braided cotton rope: Medium bag - 2 yds (1.8 m); Large Bag - 2.5 yds (2.3m)
Light weight or midweight interfacing, such as SF101 (optional, and recommended if using quilting cotton)
Sewing machine
