Description
With a nod to historic alphabet samplers, I designed this pattern with cake sprinkles and confetti in mind. Mine was stitched in a chaotic blend of colors, but you can choose your own palette and stitches. This is an excellent beginner project because it can be completed using only the running stitch. However—you could also choose to mix it up and use a variety of stitches. Bullion knots would be stunning! The design comes printed in permanent ink on 100% cotton fabric, ready to hoop and stitch.
The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.
What size is it?
This Sampler measures approximately 9"x11".
What thread should I use?
We use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.
