Description

We are pleased to announce that Sara Buscaglia, the creator of Farm & Folk will be teaching a workshop in Columbus May 17-19, 2024! Sara is an artist, organic farmer and author of the book Farm & Folk Quilt Alchemy. She designs beautiful naturally dyed quilts that are often made from colors she grows on her Colorado farm. Join us for all or part of this three day experience including a book signing, a shopping social, an inspiring natural dye demo, and a two-day hand stitched quilting retreat.

Friday May 17th 6PM-8PM – Gorgeous dyeing demo- and everyone gets at least one chance to dip! Join Sara for two hours of instruction on natural dyeing. You’ll want to bring a notebook and pen to keep track of all of Sara’s hot tips!

If you want to dip, make sure you also bring pre-scoured or prepared for dyeing (PFD) fabric cut into fat quarters. Sara has a free scouring tutorial on her blog for those who need it. Any natural fabrics are fine such as cotton, linen, hemp, silk, wool, etc. but no synthetics.

One pair of kitchen gloves- unless you want to get blue hands and brag about your new talents!

Cancellations and refunds

Due to the planning and travel involved, all sales are final and we cannot offer refunds once you have purchased the workshop. You are welcome to find a replacement on your own if your plans change. In that case please let us know so that we can add that participant to our email communication prior to the workshop. Thank you for your understanding.
