Description
Join knitting teacher Caitlin, and learn the ins and outs of knitting! For your first project you will learn how to make a soft, gorgeous spa cloth. The class is broken up into two sessions, giving you plenty of time to hone your new knitting skills.
Class 1: You will learn how to cast on and knit. We will tour the shop’s yarn selection and Caitlin will give you a brief orientation to all things yarn & knitting- what is the deal with yarn weight? What does gauge mean?
Class 2: You will learn how to purl, cast off, and weave in the ends of your project!
Caitlin creates a wonderful beginner’s notion kit which is included in the price of the class. Students will also be provided with a copy of You Will Be Able to Knit By the End of This Book by Rosie Fletcher to support your learning during and after this class.
