Description
In this class, your child will learn how to sew using a sewing machine and use those skills to make their own unique creation. In the first class, we will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin and sew using safe practices. In the second session we will complete our Monsters!
Kids will come away with a unique stuffed Monster plushie and the skills to make more sewing projects on their own.
Skill Level - Beginner - No previous sewing experience required
Ages: 8 and up
Supplies are included in the cost of the class
Skills Learned - How to thread the sewing machine, wind a bobbin, basic machine settings, safe sewing practices, hand sewing basics-whipstitch and running stitch.

Class Structure:
Class 1: Learn to thread and sew using the sewing machine. Select pattern and fabric, and cut out our monsters!
Class 2: Sew monsters, add features, and stuff them.
