Description
Ready to branch out in your quilting and try something new? Join us for the second class in quilting school! We will explore English paper piecing, foundation paper piecing, and curved piecing and students will finish the class with a lap sized "Snake Trail" quilt.
Teacher: Rachel Wallis
LEVEL: Intermediate - You must have completed at least two quilts and be confident measuring and cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler and using your sewing machine.
Age: 16+
Schedule:
Week 1 - Experiments in English Paper Piecing and Foundation Paper Piecing.
Week 2 - Curved Piecing, quilt design, and picking fabrics for our Snake Trail quilts.
Week 3 - Piecing our Snake Trail quilts
Week 4 - Piecing/squaring up quilt top
Week 5 - Basting and quilting (with intro to hand quilting and long arm quilting)
Week 6 - Binding
Supplies: Quilt pattern and and printed templates are included in the cost of the class. All materials needed for the quilt will be purchased during class on Week 2. Students receive a 15% discount!
