There’s no better time than now to build upon basic sewing knowledge and make a quilt - with confidence! Whether you’re a quilting newbie or need a skill refresher, Quilting 101 - RAIL FENCE is a six week course designed with essential skill building in mind from fabric selection to the finish binding along with all of the helpful best-practice tips and tricks for success along the way. This isn’t a typical quilting class or cookie cutter quilt pattern. RAIL FENCE is a simple quilt design with a tremendous amount of color variability/flexibility and offers loads of different outcomes. This finished quilt will be unique to you and you’ll step away with the necessary skills and helpful reference material that you can revisit for your next project. Have taken Sewing 101 and Sewing 102 or comfortable using a sewing machine and know how to load a bobbin.

This weekday evening Summer class begins Tuesday, June 8, 2021, and runs for 6 weeks. Bring your machine, or use one of ours. Any tasks not accomplished during class time should be completed as homework. As time permits, we can work ahead and prep for next lesson. There is an optional Show & Tell Celebration in the shoppe on Tuesday, July 20th, to show off our finished work and discuss what quilt project to tackle next!
