Description
Crochet granny squares are all the rage right now, and we love them! From totes to tops to collars, we are seeing them everywhere. To get in on the trend, Rachael wrote this pattern, the Great Granny Collar, and is eager to guide our intermediate level students through the project. Use one color, or many, it's up to you! Students will build on their granny square knowledge with a 5-sided granny, work through color changes, seaming, edging, and more.
This is an ADULT ONLY class. However, kids under 17 can schedule a private lesson with our crochet teacher, Rachael. Please call the shop to schedule a lesson.
Materials (not included, but can be purchased with a 15% discount):
- Sport weight yarn-- 4-5 colors. I recommend Mrs. Moon Pudding- one skein for each color, or 5 skeins total. Or Quince & Co Chickadee. Our two center colors use only a small amount of yarn, leftover sport weight yarn from another project would also work great!
- Hook-- US G / 4mm
- Measuring tape, scissors, darning needle.
Level: Intermediate. Crochet 101 & 102 or equivalent experience is required.
