Taught by Kathy Copeland. Make a versatile and creative zippered pouch! We will learn how sew in a zipper, make a boxed corner, top-stitch and apply fusible fleece for added stability. Basic sewing skills needed

LEVEL :: Beginner


  • 1/3 yard of fabric #1 (outer fabric)*
  • 1/3 yard of fabric #2 (lining)*
*In choosing fabrics, please avoid rayon, voile or fabrics containing stretch. Quilter weight cotton or home decor weight is best.*
  • 1/3 yard of fusible fleece
  • 1 – 14" zipper
  • optional - 1/8 yard ribbon trim
  • Thread to coordinate


  • This project requires a zipper foot for your sewing machine.
