Sashiko is a form of Japanese functional embroidery and means "little stabs." Sashiko for beginners will teach you how to work with a sashiko needle and thread, load needle with fabric for stitching and sewing a basic running stitch with consistently spaced stitches. You will also learn some tips and tricks on transferring a sashiko pattern on fabric and creating a design.
