Description

Join Mallory at Sew to Speak to work through multiple patterns to build your skills and confidence in handbag making. This 6 week course will cover various bag types and sizes to provide you with three versatile bags to use in your everyday adventures. 

You will make a Basic Reversible Tote by Mallory Hill, the Hillside Tote from Noodlehead Patterns, and The Explorer Tote from Noodlehead Patterns

The FIRST class starts early at 5:30pm for an informational session at the shop where students can shop for all of their supplies with the instructor. We will also go over optional hardware such as rivets and leather accents.  All the following classes begin at 6pm.

Level – Intermediate, must be very familiar with your sewing machine including able to change your sewing machine needle, thread your machine, fill and change your bobbin, etc. A machine that is able to sew through multiple layers of thick fabric is needed. You may use a shop machine but you must be very familiar with the machine.

Supplies Included in Fees – Basic Reversible Tote by Mallory Hill, Hillside Tote from Noodlehead Patterns, and The Explorer Tote from Noodlehead Patterns

Supplies provided by student - specifics will be emailed to students after registration.  Students will shop for supplies with Mallory at the first class session.
